This week was great because I was finally able to play some pickleball with some old guys. It was definitely interesting because I was using a borrowed wooden paddle from a member but I showed these southerners how we do it out in Utah . So far I haven't found much competition, but I guess since I've beat both my older brother and Elder Eric Ellis (he's sponsored) theres not much competition for me at all. Watch out BYU intramurals in a year haha. Also s/o to Elder Damuni and his fam for introducing me to the sport ha.
If you told me before the mish that I would coach people in tennis and play pickleball in an effort to find new people to teach, I would've thought you were crazy. As of right now we haven't had tons of success but I have had some great conversations about the church, and its leading to more convos than door knocking, contacting formers, and contacting people on facebook, so its definitely something to build on. I just need to get the comps good at pickleball so we can start challenging more people in doubles lol.
Oh also a year ago in 2 days I was leaving the MTC and going to Brizzy.... crazy how time flies.
