We were able to meet our new mission president and his wife this past week! They are really nice and we had a great talk about good old Queensland. It was nice hearing some aussie accents for the first time since April. They are from a place called Capalaba which is like 30 or so minutes from brisbane and I technically covered it when I was in the chinese area there, but the only reason I've ever been there is because one of the only taco bells in queensland is right around there.... oh and because there is a super pretty island called "Stradbroke Island" that I went to like twice hahaha. I'll attach a pic or 2 🥰. Fun fact the first time I ever went there was about a year ago too, how time flies!
Also we had church here again for the first time since March for me! It was crazy weird but I highkey missed it, especially as a missionary ha.
In terms of the title, we've been able to do some more sports contacting. Elder Su, a new guy from Brigham city named Elder Guenther, and I took on some random dudes in basketball, and it was too fun. I've done tennis contacting, pickleball contacting, and now basketball here in NC haha. if you got any more ideas let me know.
It hit 50 this past week and I almost died at a dinner appt outside cuz I didnt bring a jacket. I was really looking forward to 4 summers in a row with no winter and only a small transition in between. On Sunday however it was absolutely perfect temperature and I got a little trunky for sitting in the grass outside when it's not too hot or too cold, so I went out and did my language study while elder su did his on the patio outside, so no broken rules there haha. I'll put some pics down below.
