This week was good fun! I got to teach tennis to chinese nonmembers, and we had a great Thanksgiving dinner with some members! They had Elder Bennion and I participate in their annual Karaoke tradition, so fun haha.
The highlight was we set our good friend 郑姐妹 on date this week for December 12th (12/12)! We started teaching her maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago, and she is super prepared to hear the gospel, and always talks about how much she cant wait until she is baptized! She is super awesome, so I'm hyped for her. She drinks coffee and tea every day and I was so scared to bring up the Word of Wisdom, but when we started talking about it she basically said how she feels like coffee and tea can be addictive, and agreed to stop right then and there. I love a story found in Luke 7:5-10 that talks about faith- a centurion wanted his servant to be healed, but didnt deem himself worthy to enter into Christ's presence. Jesus says in verse 9 though "I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." Sometimes we may not think ourselves worthy to recieve blessings, but through being humble we can show our Heavenly Father that we want to change! When we do so our faith will improve and we will receive blessings! I have definitley seen that in 郑姐妹, and it is amazing how much of a blessing it is to have humility.
