This week was too much fun! So first off- tennis. I found 3 people by playing tennis- all 3 of them are my age, Chinese, and they are all really saucy at tennis, like my skill level back when I played 2nd singles. We played doubles, the only thing that kept me in play with them was I had a better net game than all of them and my serves are popping, I'm pretty rusty when it comes to everything else but I'm seeing progress, plus they need a 4th for playing doubles so I've been able to go out and hit with them a bunch. It's so fun and honestly one of the most effective ways I've found people my whole mission. Talking about the gospel comes up so easy in these situations, what a blessing.
another cool thing is we are vamping up the missions chinese facebook page that I run by myself haha. We got some ads running for all of North Carolina, and already got heaps of people messaging the page. We are in the process of getting in touch with the 2 other missions that also cover North Carolina, and gonna start collaborating with their Chinese missionaries (Elder Brecken Jergensen is part of that group!!) 2021 is gonna start with a bang. It'll be a breath of fresh air having some other people help make content for that page.
I made banana bread like a professional and lowkey it's better than my mom's banana bread. 高厨师
