Something I realized is that I have been in North Carolina for the same amount of time I was in Australia... as of yesterday. what??? 7 months in each place already.
A really busy and good week! We had our friend Livia 郑 on date for the 12th of december but unfortunately her husband had a covid scare so it got postponed temporarily. Shes been so fun working with and has such a strong desire to always learn. We even got a temple square tour with a friend from Cache Valley, Sister Berger! We taught a lot more lessons this week with both members and non members, and got into a good old fashioned bible bash in a Wendy's friday night! It's been a long time since I've had one of those hahaha. Saturday was extra fun because we had lots of service opportunities planned, and even taught some tennis lessons. Probably one of the highlights of being here in North Carolina is how many people like to play tennis (and we can play in December without being freezing cold)!
The work here has been humming along pretty well, and quarantined work no longer feels like quarantined work! It also doesnt hurt to have some nice 65 degree weather in the middle of December 🥰. If feels surreal that christmas is almost here, does not feel like a year ago that I was living the life in good old Sunnybank
